CNC Turner

We are an established leader in the subcontract manufacture of precision machined components for the Aerospace sector, providing engineering excellence across the industry to a prestigious and diverse client base.

Due to continued growth, reinvestment, and excellent staff retention, we now have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced CNC Miller to join our team.

You’ll be working within a modern, clean, and state-of-the-art facility, as part of a highly skilled and supportive engineering team.

The Role

As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for offline programmingsetting, and operating a range of modern CNC Lathes to produce high-precision components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CNC Turning– Setting and Operating 2 & 3 Axis Lathes
  • Offline programming (Edgecam experience advantageous but not essential)
  • Producing precision components for the Aerospace, Optical, and General Engineering sectors
  • Working on Fanuc-controlled CNC Lathes

Hours & Benefits

 Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 5:30pm (30-minute lunch break)
*Enjoy a 3-Day Weekend – Every Friday Off!
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x for all hours worked over 40 per week
Holidays: 22 days paid holiday + all national bank holidays

Pay: Top Rates in the City – dependent on experience and skill level

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Apprentice CNC Machinist

Salary: (Apprentice National Minimum Wage)
Hours: 38 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (30-minute lunch break)

We are a leading subcontract manufacturer of precision components for the Aerospace, Medical, and Oil & Gas sectors. Due to continued growth and investment, we are looking to recruit an Apprentice CNC Machinist to join our skilled engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their engineering career. Full training will be provided on-site, alongside structured learning through Hull College.

About the Apprenticeship

The successful candidate will be enrolled onto the Level 2 Engineering course at Hull College, gaining core machining and engineering skills through a combination of hands-on training and classroom learning.

Entry Requirements (Hull College Level 2 Engineering)

  • 4 GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above
  • English and Maths are mandatory subjects
  • English & Maths Support: If you do not have grade 4 (C), you will continue to study English and/or Maths as part of the programme.
